19-20 Fantasy Football Tournament – Rules and Prizes

All money raised will go back into displays and prizes for the game

Rules:

All selections must be made and paid by kick off of the first game of the season (West Brom)

Cost = £10 per person, paid via link on submission page

Teams can be re-chosen twice a year. September International Break (to consider later summer signings) and end of January transfer window

A blog post / email once a month will be sent to confirm standings and statistics

1 overall prize (winner, runner up, third)

Monthly prize (listed below) for top manager per month

Player point scoring

Any player who starts the game will earn 2 points (must be on the pitch at kick-off)

Any player who plays the full duration of the game will earn 1 additional point

A substitute appearance will earn 1 point

A goal from a GK or a defender will earn 5 points

A goal from a CM  will earn 4 points

A goal from a AM  or Striker will earn 3 points

An assist will earn 2 points (irrespective of position) – deemed to be last player who touched ball

If the team keep a clean sheet all defenders and GK who have featured will be awarded 2 points

A missed penalty will lead to a deduction of 3 points (even if rebound is scored)

Penalty save from Forest GK will earn 5 points

A yellow card will lead to a deduction of 2 points

A red card will lead to a deduction of 5 points

An own goal will lead to a deduction of 5 points

Official man of the match (as announced by PA System) will earn 3 points (Home games only)

 

Bonus point scoring

First player to 5 yellows from the pots = -20 points

ALL cup games are worth double points

Captain gets x1.5 points

Overall attendance guess for closest = 50 points, 2nd = 40 points, 3rd = 30 points, 4th = 20 points, 5th = 10 points

First to score own goal (from pots) = -20 points

First to score direct free kick = 15 points

Each player can choose 2 games per season (2 pre xmas, 2 post) for “double points” multiplier (done on submission sheet). ALL players will get double points (positive and negative)
