The Boat Trip – Image Gallery

It rained and the football wasn’t particularly great… Welcome to another day in the life of Nottingham Forest. Well, no actually.

As 7 (seven) boats crept towards Lady Bay Bridge, the gateway to what has now become an annual tradition of masses of red smoke, the rain poured down on us. But it mattered not.

A short time later a resolute Rotherham side, perhaps a better team than many of us had given them credit for, also did their best to dampen the mood. But we eventually overcame. It wasn’t pretty but the three points certainly were.

Despite it all Saturday was a fantastic day. Thanks to all of you who joined us on board, thanks to Colin Barrett for once again turning up like he isn’t a league and European champion but one of the lads, and thanks to those who waved and sang along from the banks or on the bridges.

The boats will be back next year.
